Every year around 70,000 cycles of IVF treatment take place in the UK - worth £320 million per annum.
Today guidance has been published by the Competition and Markets Authority to help fertility clinics understand and comply with their obligations under consumer law.
This is to protect both patient, as consumers and clinic; considering the difficult circumstances in which people find themselves when they are making decisions about fertility treatment.
